Wallpaper Installation in Dubai

We supply and fit wallpaper across Dubai: single feature walls, full rooms, majlis and dining ceilings, and custom-printed murals, using our own licensed installers rather than subcontracted labour. The person who measures your wall is on the team that hangs it.

What the job actually involves

A good wallpaper installation is mostly preparation. We start with the wall itself: apartment and villa walls in Dubai are usually gypsum board or plastered blockwork, and the two behave differently. Gypsum needs sealing first, or the paste soaks straight into the board and the paper face lifts when anyone later tries to remove it. Freshly painted plaster wants at least two weeks to cure before anything goes over it. If the wall carries a high-sheen emulsion, we key it back so the adhesive has something to grip.

Once the wall is ready we measure, cut and hang the first drop against a plumb line rather than the corner. No corner in a Dubai apartment is truly square, and starting from one puts every subsequent drop out by the same error. Seams are double-cut so the joints disappear. Socket and switch plates come off and go back on over the paper, never around it.

What it costs

Pricing is per square metre, supplied and installed, with a five square metre minimum. Classic non-woven and vinyl rolls start at the lower end of our catalogue range; textured and textile papers sit in the middle; custom-printed murals sit at the top. The figure shown against each design already includes fitting, adhesive and site protection. The only thing that changes it is wall preparation, and you hear about that at the measurement visit, not after the work is done.

How long it takes

Most feature walls take three to four hours. A full bedroom or majlis is a single day. Stock rolls reach us in one to two working days; a custom mural is printed to your exact wall dimensions and takes three to seven days including printing and curing. We work around your building’s rules: many tower managements restrict contractor access to weekdays, and we arrange the NOC, the service lift booking and the insurance certificate with the management office ourselves.

Renting? This still works

Modern non-woven wallpaper is designed to strip dry in full panels. Installed properly on a sealed wall it comes away without taking the gypsum face with it, which is why it has become the default choice for tenants here. We also handle removal and make-good at the end of a tenancy, so the wall goes back the way the landlord expects.
